We have just arrived in Chicago. Tyler and Tara decided to come along for the weekend!! Surprise road trip!! While Tara and I slept, Daniel and Tyler listened to the summer jams of 2005. Ah. The days of emo music. What a joy to go in and out of. Fortunately, since we left around 5am, we had an easy time with traffic. We also had the recurring joy of seeing the windmills throughout Indiana.
When we arrived in Chicago, we searched for a place to eat brunch. We decided upon The Bongo Room in Wicker Park. Of course, the first thing I asked for was coffee. MUCH needed. Well, here's to an exciting beginning!! I will hopefully be able to update this regularly, as we will have wifi in our hotel in Africa. So until next time, au revoir!!!!
